Abstract:
This thesis will analyze the role played by three different intertexual
representations of oppression in the film "Todo Sobre Mi Madre" by Pedro Almodóvar. Almodóvar’s use of intertext enhances the plot of the film but it also reveals more detail about the relationships portrayed— moments that are hinted at but never openly revealed on film.
