Abstract:
The future of supply chain is filled with excitement and uncertainty of the future. With a rise in the middle class across the globe; retailers and their suppliers are scrambling to keep up with the demand. Mass production is at all-time high and what businesses are aiming for now. It can bring in millions of dollars in revenue. Consumers want their products affordable and fast. Retailing giants are thriving because they are able to supply large quantities of products and satisfy the demand of the consumer. Mass production is not only occurring on the lower end of the retail but also in the luxury sector. There is a disconnect between brick and mortar stores and online stores for various retailers that needs to be assessed and revamped.
