This thesis will investigate the proliferation of crowdfunding platforms and the realization of
crowdfunded projects from conception to fulfillment. The purpose of this thesis is to illustrate the
crowdfunding ecosystem and realization process to help future crowdfunded startups better
plan, scope, and execute successful projects.
