Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the issue of socio-economic inequality within the housing
infrastructures of urban environments. Addressing the problem of homogeneous
communities and how they contribute to social ignorance which may result in
increased crime. The aim of this thesis is to propose a new type of urban housing that
includes a mix of social groups working towards a common goal to establish safer
and more sustainable communities and knit together the tear in the urban fabric.
