Abstract:
|
As I pursue an acting career I needed a solid foundation of techniques for creating a believable character in a non musical. As the character Marnie in the The Drunken City I applied a combination of acting theories including Body Awareness, Freeing the Natural Voice, Meisner’s repetition exercises, and Stanislavski’s Physical Apparatus. This strategy allowed me to find and fully flesh out my character, equipping me with the tools I need for future projects.
