Swift leather has a natural grain so fine that it’s barely noticeable, allowing a vibrant shade of orange to take the stage as the signature color of Hermès. This collaboration between tech company and luxury goods brand began in September 2023; at the same time, Apple announced it would replace leather with sustainable materials across all its product lines. The decision would increase appeal for an Hermès collaboration by favoring high-quality construction over the mass-market production of Apple’s leather watch bands.
